Our North American Indigenous population has suffered discrimination, oppression, lack of representation, and lack of a voice for centuries.
Today, we endure the kidnapping, murder, and sex-trafficking of our sisters, with little to nothing being done to address or even acknowledge these horrific crimes.
Often times these victims are painted as something less than people deserving of justice, due to the places, conditions, and social status they have been forced to live in.
As a member of the Quapaw Nation, I have taken this issue to heart.
There are very few resources available to help locate those who are missing, or to bring justice for the families of those who have been taken from us.
Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women - Chahta is an organization that endeavors to change this.
I have made it my mission to use my music to help with this in any capacity I am able.
I am currently working on a project that involves an original song that will be produced in the near future. I've designed a line of merchandise to help raise funds to produce the song and the accompanying video.
Any money raised through donations and sales will go to fund the production. Any money left over or raised from the music will be donated directly to MMIW&G.
Thank you for your support.
